The teachers of the retreat
Swami Kashi
Swami Kashi is a Western India Swami (monk), who has been living in the Himalayas of India and Sivananda ashrams for the past 15 years. He learned Sanskrit, Hindi, and Vedanta philosophy from his guru, Swami Chaitanyananda of Uttarkashi, a direct disciple of Swami Sivananda. Swami Kashi is known for his unique ability to transmit the deepest philosophical truths in a clear, entertaining, and joyful way through beautiful stories and vivid illustrations. His down-to-earth approach and loving nature make him an ideal bridge between the ancient yogic teachings and a Western audience.

Molly Birkholm
Molly Birkholm is a recognized leader in Sivananda (hatha) Yoga, iRest® Yoga Nidra, and treating trauma with yoga and meditation. She is the co-founder of Warriors at Ease, an organization that develops yoga and meditation programs in military communities. She is also the co-owner of the Yoga Center of Key Biscayne, an affiliated Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center. Molly is a long-term partner with the Department of Defense on PTSD treatment, research, and prevention programs. Through her company Healing River Yoga, she leads worldwide retreats and teacher trainings. She has four iRest Yoga Nidra Guided Meditation CDs and an upcoming book.
